Glam rockers Ratt have put their plans on hold following the death of frontman Stephen Pearcy's sister. The band was due to appear on the Monsters Of Rock cruise, which sails from Florida on 29 March (14), but they have now pulled out following the singer's tragic news. A statement from the group reads, "We are deeply saddened to report that Stephen Pearcy's sister has passed away. Due to this sudden and unexpected news, RATT will not be performing on the Monsters Of Rock cruise. We would like to thank all our loyal fans for their continued support and understanding. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Stephen and his family. We ask that you kindly respect Stephen's privacy during this difficult time." The news is a double blow for the band after their drummer Bobby Blotzer previously pulled out of the cruise due to ongoing health troubles. The rocker has failed to recover fully from an operation on his neck in October (13).
