Dancer Joan Miller dead at 77

Dancer Joan Miller has died at the age of 77. The New York choreographer passed away from complications related to diabetes on 27 March (14).
Miller is best known for founding the dance programme at Lehman College in 1968.
It served as a bridge to Broadway for many dancers and Miller went on to train performers including The Wiz’s Martial Roumain and executive artistic director of the Forces of Nature Dance Theatre Company Abdel Salaam.
