Pharrell Williams has been warned to prepare for a "rollercoaster" ride when he joins U.S. talent show The Voice. The Happy hitmaker confirmed last month (Mar14) that he is taking over from departing coach Cee Lo Green, writing on his Twitter.com page, "This is going to be so fun." Williams' fellow coaches have now expressed excitement at the prospect of their new colleague, but they have warned him to prepare for a wild time on the show. Adam Levine tells the Hollywood Reporter, "I think he'll be a great coach. It's a different experience, so he has to get ready for the rollercoaster. He's so lovely - an unbelievable talent actually." Blake Shelton adds, "The gloves have got to come off - he's got to get mad, gotta get competitive and start thinking about music like it's a sport." Williams previously appeared on the show's fourth season as a guest mentor for Usher's team. The forthcoming seventh season of the show, featuring Williams, will air in the U.S. this autumn (14).
