Bluegrass musician George Shuffler dies at 88

Legendary bluegrass musician George Shuffler has died at the age of 88. The North Carolina native passed away on Monday (07Apr14), according to BluegrassToday.com.
Shuffler was regarded as a pioneer in the genre and developed his own cross-picking guitar style.
He toured with bluegrass icons the Stanley Brothers for over 20 years and earned the nickname The Third Stanley Brother.
Shuffler received the North Carolina Heritage Award in 2007 and he was inducted in to the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in 2011.
