Romeo lets slip news of surprise Coachella performance

Hip-hop veteran Master P is preparing to stage a surprise performance at California's Coachella music festival this weekend (11-13Apr14). The Make 'Em Say Uhh! hitmaker's son, rapper/actor Romeo, let slip the news to a cameraman on Thursday (10Apr14), revealing they will be joining forces with artists from his dad's No Limit Records label for a previously unannounced appearance. He said, "We gon' be out there (at Coachella), have a surprise performance... We not suppose to say nothing (sic)... but we may have a little something... It's a No Limit... '90s surprise." Editors at have since confirmed with Master P's representatives that the performance will take place on Sunday (13Apr14). Headliners for the three-day festival, which takes place over two weekends, include newly-reunited rap duo Outkast, English rockers Muse, and Canadian band Arcade Fire. Master P and his crew aren't the only last-minute additions to the Coachella line-up - cult rockers the Pixies and The Strokes star Julian Casablancas are set to take to the stage on Saturday (12Apr14).
