Veteran actor Sir Michael Gambon has to rely on an earpiece to help him remember his lines. The Harry Potter star has previously spoken of how he struggles to learn scripts and had to pull out of play The Habit of Art in 2009 due to an "overwhelming" fear of forgetting his lines. Speaking at the HighTide Festival in Suffolk, England on Saturday (19Apr14), the 73-year-old revealed he now has a helper who feeds him his lines through an earpiece. He says, "A girl speaks into my ear and gives my lines." Gambon also admits his memory problems left him fearing he was suffering with Alzheimer's disease, but he has been given the all clear after consulting two doctors: "The good news is that that's not the case. It's a real worry but there's not much I can do about it."
