Veteran actor James Earl Jones is heading back to Broadway in the revival of classic play You Can't Take It With You. The 87-year-old Tony winner will return to the Great White Way this autumn (14) in the 1936 comedy written by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman. Jones is reportedly set to play the role of Grandpa Vanderhof, the head of the Sycamore family which butts heads with rival clan the Kirbys over a real estate dispute. The Star Wars icon last appeared on Broadway in 2012's The Best Man revival, for which he earned his fourth Tony nomination for Best Leading Actor. The upcoming production, directed by Broadway vet Scott Ellis, marks the first revival of the show in more than 30 years. The play debuted on Broadway in 1936, and earned the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1937. In 1938, the film adaptation by director Frank Capra claimed the Best Picture prize at the Academy Awards.
