Courteney Cox will return to Cougar Town for one final series. The former Friends star's sitcom has been renewed by bosses at U.S. network TBS for a sixth and final season. The 13 new episodes will air in early 2015. Cougar Town debuted in 2009 on ABC but was cancelled by network bosses in 2012. In a rare move, TBS executives picked up the comedy, which co-stars Christa Miller, Busy Philipps and Dan Byrd. It's not the only U.S. comedy set for a final season next year - Amy Poehler's Parks & Recreation will end after its upcoming seventh run. The hit show debuted in 2009 and the finale season is slated to air in the U.S. early next year (15).
