U.S. broadcasting veteran Casey Kasem has been found in Washington just hours after his daughter filed a missing persons report in California. The 82-year-old TV and radio personality, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, was reported missing by his daughter Kerri this week (beg12May14) and a judge ordered an investigation into his whereabouts. Police have now confirmed Kasem has been located. Sergeant Mario Toti tells the New York Daily News, "He's already been found. He was somewhere in the Pacific Northwest." Kerri says in a statement, "We are grateful to the local authorities for finding my Dad. We are one step closer to bringing him home." Kasem has been caught up in a family battle over his care in recent years amid a reported feud between his wife Jean and his adult children. Kerri has been seeking a temporary conservatorship and she was appointed her father's official caretaker on Monday (12May14).
