The Irish filmmaker behind hit 2007 movie Once is working on a new project with U2. Dublin-born musician and director John Carney has revealed he is returning to Ireland to develop Sing Street, which will feature songs written by U2's Bono and The Edge. The film, set in the 1980s, surrounds a teenager who is forced out of his private school and into a tough inner-city institution, where he finds refuge in music. Carney, a former member of Irish band The Frames, wrote the script and will direct the movie, which is loosely inspired by his own life. Filming is set to start in September (14).
