Radio pioneer Tom Rounds dies at 77

Radio pioneer Tom Rounds has died at the age of 77. The broadcasting executive passed away from complications related to minor surgery on Sunday (01Jun14), according to RollingStone.com.
Rounds founded California’s Fantasy Fair & Magic Mountain Festival in 1967 and the event considered the first rock music festival.
In 1970, he co-created radio programme American Top 40 with broadcasting legend Casey Kasem and in 1985, he formed Radio Express, a network of over 5,000 global radio stations.
