Game Of Thrones star Rose Leslie has become the latest celebrity to voice opposition to Scottish independence ahead of the country's referendum in September (14). The actress, who played warrior Ygritte in the hit TV fantasy, believes her homeland is better off as part of the U.K. and fears independence could be disastrous. She tells British newspaper the Daily Record, "I feel that (Scotland's First Minister) Alex Salmond is blinded by his passion and can't quite see just how fantastic we have it at the moment... We have our own identity in Scotland, we have our own parliament. Yet we have the strength with the backing of Westminster... We are in a very strong position right now." Earlier in June (14), Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling donated $1.6 million (£1 million) to the anti-Scottish independence campaign group Better Together, while music legend David Bowie, actor Alan Cumming and singer Susan Boyle have all backed the 'No' vote.
