The hip-hop star has opened up about his addiction issues in a new interview, revealing he has finally overcome his demons after years of personal struggles. Fans have been waiting for the star's debut album ever since he was signed to Jay Z's Roc Nation record label in 2010, and he explains he is focusing on work now his life is back on track. He tells Revolt TV, "I've gone through my own personal struggles and living my life. I backslid for a while. Got into the drugging, drinking, and smoking, and now I'm back reformed. All praises due to Allah. "I just wanted to come out today, clean, sober and with my family, and taking control of my life, taking control of the game." The rapper hopes to release his Act II: Patents of Nobility (The Turn) album later this year (14).
