Rapper Waka Flocka Flame and retired basketball icon Shaquille O'Neal have been hit with defamation lawsuits from a man they allegedly mocked on social media. Jahmel Binion, who suffers from genetic disorder hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia, claims the stars made disparaging comments about his looks after he uploaded a photo of himself online in April (14). The image was reposted by the No Hands hitmaker and O'Neal, who reportedly poked fun at Binion's snap, which depicted him with facial deformities, patchy hair growth and missing teeth - symptoms of his rare condition. After O'Neal learned of Binion's health problems, he apologised on Twitter.com in a message which read, "Made a new friend today when I called and apologized to Jahmel Binion. Great dude. alwayslearning MYBADCUZ (sic)." Binion also received apologies from Waka Flocka and Utah Jazz basketball player Trey Burke for mocking him, but the Michigan resident is not satisfied and on Wednesday (30Jul14), he launched legal action against the trio in Macomb County Circuit Court. He is seeking more than $25,000 (£14,706) in damages.
