Singer Sinead O'Connor has had her face tattoos lasered off less than a year after getting the inkings.
The Nothing Compares 2 U hitmaker publicly unveiled her new body art last September (13), showing off the letters 'B' and 'Q' in red ink on her cheeks during a performance at Britain's Bestival music festival. She later revealed the letters are the initials of a man named Brendan Quinlan, with whom she had enjoyed a brief romance.
However, less than a year later, O'Connor became mortified by the embarrassing artwork and she has undergone a surgical procedure to have the tattoos removed.
She tells rock magazine Q, "(They became) stupid s**t on my face."
