Legendary Hollywood puppeteer Bob Baker has died. The 90 year old passed away of natural causes on Friday (28Nov14).
His puppet skills featured in the films Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and A Star Is Born.
Baker also co-founded the Bob Baker Marionette Theater in Los Angeles, and served as governor of both the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences and of the Television Academy of Arts & Sciences, in the animation division.
