The former Bond girl flew to Australia over the weekend (06-07Nov10) in preparation for the show, which starts in the U.K. on Sunday (14Nov10).
Ekland admits she signed on to appear on I'm A Celebrity... to raise the profile of her autobiographical one-woman show, which toured Britain earlier this year (10) - and even though she's never watched the programme, she's adamant she'll be able to cope with all of the challenges of living in the wilderness.
She says, "Why did I sign up for the jungle? I have a one-woman show and I wanted an opportunity to raise my profile. I want people to come and see my show.
"I'm not scared of snakes, spiders or heights. I have three children as as a mum, you can't be afraid of things like that. I wouldn't say I'm a jungle Jane but I'm not afraid of anything. I'm usually working at this time of year, so I have never seen the show."
Other stars rumoured to be on the series include English actor Nigel Havers and Olympic-winning athlete Linford Christie.
