The TV villain tells The Hollywood Reporter he paid $125,000 (£83,300) for his first home after landing a leading role in TV show I Dream of Jeannie - and then worried it would bankrupt him.
He says, "I took out a mortgage at 7.25 per cent and went to bed for three days saying, 'I will never get out from under this mountain of debt.'
"I sold it to Sting 15 years ago for $6.5 million. Best investment I ever made."
