A ranked tennis player, Marx passed away of natural causes at his home on Thursday (14Apr11).
Among his bestsellers were biographies of Red Skelton (1979) and Mickey Rooney, but he’ll be best remembered for his memoirs about his father, Son of Groucho and My Life With Groucho.
He was working on a screenplay right up to his death. He tasted success as a writer on hit TV comedies All in the Family and My Three Sons.
