The British supermodel married The Kills frontman on Friday (01Jul11) at a church in the English village of Little Faringdon, Gloucestershire, close to the home the couple shares.

The newlyweds and their guests, who included Sir Paul McCartney and Jude Law, then celebrated with a masked ball-themed reception at the farmhouse, which was decked out with six marquees, enjoying a luxurious six-tier wedding cake and performances from acrobats, according to Britain's News of the World.

The celebrations continued on Saturday with a day of music with performances from stars including Iggy Pop, Dame Shirley Bassey, Snoop Dogg, Beth Ditto and Bryan Ferry, whose track If There Is Something was chosen for the couple's first dance.

It has now been revealed Moss and Hince pre-empted any possible complaints from disgruntled neighbours by sending out bottles of booze and handwritten notes thanking them for putting up with the weekend's festivities.

One letter, addressed to a man called Mick and obtained by the News of the World, reads, "Thank you for all your patience and understanding! We hope you have not been too inconvenienced. Lots of love Jamie and Kate".
