The Mean Girls actress has been assigned a new community service programme after bosses at the Downtown Women's Center in Los Angeles terminated their arrangement with her because she only completed a fraction of her required shifts.

Now it's emerged she is also facing allegations she violated the terms of her probation by failing to comply with a court order to attend counselling sessions at least once a week, according to TMZ.com.

The website reports the actress has been working abroad so has struggled to attend regular sessions. She is due back in court in Los Angeles next week (beg17Oct11) for a judge to review her progress.

Lohan was ordered to serve 360 hours community service as part of her probation following her 2011 shoplifting conviction.
