While experimenting with sulfur hexafluoride -- which causes your voice to sound extremely deep -- the actor played around with the voice change by quoting Buffalo Bill's famous line, "It puts the lotion in the basket." All seemed fine until Harris followed up the gimmick by saying, "I've never sounded more like a tranny in my life." Realizing how what he said could be taken the wrong way, NPH took to Twitter to apologize for the insensitive remark and wrote, "Truly sorry for saying the word 'tranny' on Live this week. Twice! Should have been more thoughtful. Didn't at all mean to offend. There's the guy we know and love -- willing to admit when he's wrong. Feel free to continue to think he's absolutely amazing. - E!, Twitter
