A censored version of Demi Moore's 911 call has been released to the public and confirms the reports that the actress did indeed have convulsions in her Los Angeles home after smoking an unknown substance. People reports that a female caller described what happened to the 911 emergency respondent, saying that Moore "smoked something. It's not marijuana, but it's similar to it. It's similar to incense." She also stated that Moore was "semi-conscious" and seemed "to be having convulsions of some sort," which doesn't exactly match up with the whole "exhaustion" story the star's rep initially tried to throw out there.
A second caller also got on the phone to further describe Moore's condition, saying, "She's shaking, convulsing, burning up. I'm taking cold water and putting it on her back because she's burning up." At one point, the woman even addressed the actress by name when she asked, "Demi, can you hear me?" And apparently she could since the woman immediately stated, "Yes, she's squeezing my hand. She can't speak. She's convulsing so we're holding her down." In total, there appeared to be at least four people (three women and one man) present in Moore's home at the time the episode took place. Someone even referred to a person named "Ru" who was in the room, which could possibly be a reference to Moore's daughter, Rumer Willis.
This information definitely helps to shed some light on what actually happened to the Hollywood star, although it sadly doesn't weaken concerns. It seems Moore's problems stem far beyond any physical woes she may have, given all that she's been through this past year. And while it likely wasn't intentional, it's pretty clear she hasn't been taking great care of herself (and not just in the area of sleep deprivation). Let's just hope she's now getting the proper help she needs.
