Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie can brag all they want about their directorial debuts and Oscar nominations, but there's one thing Jennifer Aniston now has that they don't -- a Hollywood star. The actress will be immortalized on the treasured Hollywood Walk of Fame in recognition of her many contributions to the entertainment industry -- an honor that neither Brad nor Angie can claim.
So how does a rom-com queen beat two people who are regularly praised for their more prestigious projects time and time again? Two words: Rachel Green. The actress gained worldwide recognition in the 90s for portraying the always-adorable character on the ever-popular TV sitcom, Friends. That role alone earned her an Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actor's Guild Award, along with several other nominations.
So even though her repetitive rom-com characters aren't much to brag about, her ten-year-run as Rachel has outlasted them all and earned her the right to a star. The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, February 22 in front of the W Hollywood Hotel.
So what do you think? Is it fair that she received a star before Brad and Angie or did the star-giver "higher-ups" make a mistake this time around? Sound off below!
