Though Zac Efron and Taylor Swift would undoubtedly make an adorable couple, The Lorax co-stars have recently assured the world that their relationship is not romantic in any way. The duo made a joint appearance on The Ellen Show (set to air this afternoon) and confided to the talk show host that they are definitely not a couple.
As usual, Ellen DeGeneres was quick to broach the subject, immediately saying, "Since you’re a couple you will tell me," to which Swift quickly replied, "We are not a couple. He’s awesome, we are not a couple though. You hear people get together when they’re shooting movies, co-stars. But not like animated co-stars."
In fact, it appears that they didn't even work that closely together on the film. Swift joked, "Oh my god, as we were recording our voiceovers on separate coasts we really connected." Of course, this made DeGeneres coyly reply, "Alright we’ll talk about the fact that you’re a couple later."
Sorry, guys, but it looks like these two really aren't an item after all. But the bright side is, that means Zac is still single.
