While some kids are content with happy meals and microwavable snacks, Suri Cruise is living the good life in New York City. The 5-year-old fashionista was spotted eating at the French restaurant Balthazar in SoHo earlier today, March 23, with her mother, Katie Holmes and a giant stuffed animal in tow.

The mother-daughter duo arrived at the restaurant around 1:30 p.m. "[Holmes] was looking down at the ground," an onlooker observed. "She seemed like she was depressed."
Another eyewitness noticed that they "only had one security guard with them," who ushered them to the front door and "waited outside" while they ate. The lunch date went on for a good 35-45 minutes.
But the famous mother and daughter couldn't remain unnoticed for long. "No one seemed to recognize Katie until they heard who she was," a nearby street vendor revealed. "Then a few people started to wait outside, but it wasn't like when Tom Cruise came. People jumped on cars to see him."
The best part, however, is the fact that Suri was sporting a bowling bag. Who knew this style-savy girl was such an avid bowler?
