Ever since the beginning of her pregnancy, Jessica Simpson has received a substantial amount of criticism regarding her weight. And while some celebs would take this opportunity to go on their own personal Twitter tirade, the 31-year-old star has decided to take the high road and chosen not to let comments about her body bother her. In fact, she's even willing to joke about it.
The soon-to-be-mother took to Twitter, letting fans know they should pick up her nude Elle magazine cover before it's too late. "Last chance to see me "fat" aka PREGNANT on the cover of Elle," Simpson wrote. "I loved this shoot, only on stands for a few more days!!!"
Last week, The View co-host Joy Behar made unnecessary comments about Simpson's extreme weight gain. "Most women who are pregnant are not supposed to gain more than 25 pounds," Behar told viewers. "She looks like she gained a lot more than that." But Simpson ignoring such inconsiderate remarks and focusing on the more important things in life — like becoming a mother.
Say what you will about Jessica Simpson, but you have to admit, the girl's got some class.
