It's turning out to be quite the year for Chris Hemsworth. Not only will he be riding a box office high (4/20 pun intended) fresh off of Cabin in the Woods and then when The Avengers and Snow White and the Huntsman hit theaters, but he'll also be taking on one of the biggest role of his life: Fatherhood. However, it's a challenge Hemsworth seems more than ready to face. The actor showed that he's a very proud father-to-be as he joyfully posed and stroked his wife Elsa Pataky's pregnant belly on the red carpet of The Avengers UK premiere on April 19.
The happy couple have expressed nothing but excitement (and some nerves) about the impending arrival of the new edition to their family. "It's only just sort of becoming a reality," the 28-year-old star previously admitted to ET Canada. "And now it's like 'Oh, wait a second. What am I going to do? Quick, read a book.'"
But when it comes to the gender of their little bundle of joy, both Hemsworth and Pataky are choosing to keep that information under wraps."It's definitely one of them," Hemsworth slyly quipped to E! Online at The Avenger's premiere in Hollywood. "It's a secret."
Something tells us he won't have to tap into those Thor superpowers of his in order to become a super dad. He's already there.
