For the past few months, Jerry Seinfeld has been teasing fans by tweeting hints about his latest project, and the stars involved are pretty big. On March 9 he wrote, "Working on my New Thing. Shooting in Manhattan with the Great @alecbaldwin." A month later on April 9, he shared a photo of himself in a DeLorean along with the caption "My New Project: Shooting today in Battery Park City." Two weeks later, he tweeted, "New Seiny Gig Update: Always lovable Ricky Gervais and myself shooting today in City Island, NY," along with a photo of himself with Gervais in a vintage sports car.
On Tuesday, the comedian revealed that he'll be teaming up with his old Seinfeld partner Larry David. He also shared a shot of himself checking out a 1952 VW with the Curb Your Enthusiasm star.
Since Seinfeld already appeared in a star-studded Super Bowl commercial for the Acura NSX, another ad would be a logical assumption. However, his rep says that his latest gig isn't a TV commercial, but the other stars are "indeed elements of the project."
If it's a TV show, it's the most mysterious series since Lost.
