Mitchell Guist, one of the stars of the History Channel's Swamp People, died on Monday in St. Martin Parish, La. Law enforcement officers told WBRZ.com that Guist passed away around 9 AM.
Sheriff Mike Waguespack said that Guist fell just after his boat headed out on the Belle River. And, witnesses tell TMZ that he may have suffered a seizure. According to TMZ's report, the boat returned to the dock and someone called 911. Guist was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital, but it was too late. Attempts to save the star with CPR failed.
