Rachel Berry may be a Miss Goodie-Two-Shoes on the Fox hit show, Glee, but Lea Michele is here to remind us that she doesn't feel the need to be as conventional as her fame-obsessed counterpart — and she's got the ink to prove it. The actress appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman on May 21 and flaunted over a dozen different tattoos (14 to be exact), claiming that her ink addiction runs in the family.
"I come from a very big Italian family, and tattoos are very popular," the 25-year-old star remarked. "We'll be like, 'Let's all get tattoos.'" She went on to explain: "Then we get super sentimental, and then the next day I wake up with, like, another butterfly on my foot. And I'm like, it seemed more important in the moment."
So while most of you were out scavenger hunting for eggs this past Easter, Michele was busy getting yet another tattoo. "Some people go hunting for eggs," she told Letterman. "We go get tattoos." But, according to the Broadway-turned-television star, her inking days are almost done. "All my secret hidden spots are done," she quipped. "My real estate is over."
