He may play a good vamp on Twilight, but in real life you don't want to get on Robert Pattinson's bad side — especially after he's had a few rounds. Just ask Adele. During a chat on Thursday with Canadian talk show host George Stroumboulopoulos, Pattinson recalls a drunken encounter he had with the British songstress, admitting that he actually tried to pick a fight with her over career advice.
The 26-year-old hunk claims the conversation started out with the best intentions, but somehow got escalated into a full out, heated argument. "I had this argument with Adele, which is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever said," Pattinson shares. "[I told her] you know, you can really just reach for it!' And she was like, 'You do realize I'm, like, the biggest selling female artist ever.' And for some reason, I decided to get into an argument with her about it."
And though Pattinson didn't go into much detail about the actual words he exchanged with the Grammy winner, he did reveal that his main thoughts the next morning consisted of "waking up and really, really regretting every word I said." Hopefully he offered a formal apology to his fellow Brit, otherwise this guy could be rolling in some deep trouble.
