It's official: Johnny Depp is back on the market. After being together for over 14 years, Depp and his longtime partner Vanessa Paradis have decided to call it quits on their relationship — which has reportedly been on the rocks for some time now. But there won't be any second-guessing around this latest report since Depp's publicist was the one who announced the news.
The couple "have amicably separated," Depp's publicist said in a statement that was released to Entertainment Tonight earlier today. "Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children." The duo share two children together: Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, 9.
Depp, 49, and Paradis, 39, first got together in June of 1998 when Depp saw the French actress sitting with a group of friends at the Costes Hotel in Paris and invited her over to chat. The two immediately hit it off and have been a well-known item ever since.
It's always sad when a Hollywood relationship comes to an end, but, on the plus side, now that Depp is officially available again, the rest of us have a chance. Get in line, ladies!
