Update: Hollywood.com has since spoken to Duncan's rep, who confirmed the actor's condition and gave us the following statement: "According to doctors, Michael Clarke Duncan suffered a myocardial infarction early this morning. He is now stable and we look forward to his full recovery." As do we all.
Earlier: Michael Clarke Duncan was hospitalized this morning after going into cardiac arrest. According to TMZ, the 54-year-old Green Mile star is currently in the intensive care unit at an unspecified L.A. hospital after his fiancée Omarosa Stallworth (two-time participant on The Apprentice) discovered the actor in the midst of his cardiac arrest just before 2 AM PT. Reports say he "might have died" if not for Stallworth's swift action.
Stallworth performed CPR and was able to resuscitate Duncan right on the spot. He was then transported to a nearby hospital where he was immediately admitted to the ICU. As of now, Duncan's heart rate is currently stable. Doctors are performing tests to figure out why the actor's heart stopped in the first place.
