The Hollywood couple, who are expecting a child together this summer, have been making enquiries about suitable venues, and recently contacted staff at the luxurious Villa D'Este hotel, situated along the shores of Italy's Lake Como.
But the opulent venue was unable to accommodate the stars’ wishes.
Hotel director Jean-Marc Droulers says, "A few months ago we did have contact with Mr. Pitt. He asked whether we would be available for the first two weeks of February.
"I told him we were closed then. After that, we never heard from him again.
"They'll get married soon, but it won't be here."
