If he had to pick a president based on their level of handsomeness, famed actor and director Clint Eastwood thinks Mitt Romney would soon be answering to Commander in Chief.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Eastwood was recently at a fundraiser in Idaho and spoke up about the good looking man who was governor of the state where he was filming Mystic River back in 2000. "I said, 'God, this guy is too handsome to be governor, but he does look like he could be president.' As the years have gone by I'm beginning to think even more so that."
The presidential hopeful said it "made my day" when the actor got up on stage to speak on his behalf. Eastwood told the crowd of supporters, "It's now more important than ever that we need Gov. Romney, and I'm going to be voting for him as I know most of you will be." He cites one of the reasons for his decision is his belief that the Republican candidate will restore "a decent tax system" which would remove the need for people to be "pitted against one another."
He summed it up by saying, "We've got to just spread the word and get the whole country behind this because it's going to be an exciting election."
Might even make for a good movie one day?
