Basketball legend Michael Jordan has divorced his wife-of-17-years, Juanita, in a Chicago court.
In court documents filed at the Lake County Circuit Court yesterday, the couple said, "Irreconcilable differences have caused an irretrievable breakdown of the marriage."
They have lived separately since February.
Juanita Jordan previously filed for divorce in January 2002, but changed her mind a month later and withdrew her petition, revealing the couple was attempting a reconciliation.
However, yesterday's statement reads more efforts "would be impractical and not in the best interests of the family."
Michael and Juanita have three children together--Jeffrey, 18, Marcus, 16, and Jasmine, 14.
They married in 1989 after meeting at a Chicago restaurant.
