Super Bowl Sightings

Feb 04, 2007 | 7:25pm EST

The Super Bowl is always cause for celebs to come out in the private-jet loads, but when it’s in Miami, Hollywood’s home away from home, the big game is but a limo drive away.

Spotted at club level by a Hollywood.com roaming reporter were new couple Jim Carrey and former Playboy Playmate Jenny McCarthy, Scarlett Johansson and singer John Mellencamp, perhaps there to cheer on his music peers Prince (halftime performer) and Billy Joel (singing the national anthem). But more than likely, the Indiana native was in town to root for his hometown Colts.

Also on hand at Dolphins Stadium were racecar driver Jeff Gordon, director Spike Lee, actors Billy Bob Thornton and John Travolta, and CBS--the network which aired the Super Bowl--anchor Katie Couric.

And not ones to let the unrelenting rain put a damper on the action were Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore. The couple sat, soaked, with the masses instead of opting for the celeb-standard box seats--and appeared to be having a blast.
