A Royal Hero: Prince William Airlifts Sick Baby to Safety

Members of the British Royal Family are revered moreover for their inborn celebrity and impressive jawlines. But Prince William has earned our admiration with a recent act of heroism. Before returning home from his recent tour with the Royal Air Force, the Duke of Cambridge reportedly braced an active security threat in order to assist in the delivery of an ailing baby to a hospital in England.

Us Weekly reports that on Dec. 15, Prince William detained his reunion with wife Kate Middleton to perform the described rescue mission. The prince had the sick infant airlifted out of Northern Ireland — in light of an alleged security issue — and transported to medical care in Newcastle upon Tyne, a metropolitan area in North East England.

Prince William has since returned home, and is reported by People to be spending Christmas with Middleton and her family in the West Berkshire town of Bucklebury.
