Fresh on the heels of his first new single in six years, Justin Timberlake is set to perform at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards. The six-time Grammy winner will take to the Grammy stage for the first time in four years, and it will be his first TV performance since he announced the release of his new studio album, The 20/20 Experience, which is set for March 19.
While some listeners can't get enough of the throwback vibe of Timberlake's single, "Suit & Tie," others were hoping Timberlake's return to music would pack more of a punch — the retro-feeling song just didn't have enough of a wow factor. Could Timberlake's Grammy performance unite critics and silence the naysayers? In order to bring down the house come Grammy night, Timberlake would do well to pair his vintage Future Sex/Love Sounds swagger with his recently established movie star status.
Previously announced Grammy performers include current nominees Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert, the Black Keys, fun., the Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Jack White, as well as a duet between Elton John and current nominee Ed Sheeran.
The 55th Annual Grammy Awards will air Sunday, Feb. 10 on CBS at 8 PM ET/PT.
