Donald Trump just filed a real, actual lawsuit against Bill Maher for $5 million. The basis? That Trump is not part orangutan, as Maher once jokingly claimed.
According to TMZ, Mahr once said on the Tonight Show that he would donate $5 million to charity if Trump could prove that he wasn't the product of "his mother having sex with an orangutan." Trump's lawsuit gives his birth certificate, listing Fred Trump as his father, as proof of his humanity and demands the charitable donation from Maher. This came after Trump's publicity-seeking offer to donate $5 million to charity if President Obama procured his birth certificate.
Maher's reaction to the situation? The best tweet ever:
What?? Really? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Here are some more bizarre news updates to liven up your Tuesday:
On Broadway: Jessica Chastain made her Broadway debut in The Heiress, but another member of her family has now appeared on the Great White Way, too. At a recent performance of the drama, Chastain's three-legged dog, Chaplin, wandered onstage during a climactic second act scene. He was quickly shuffled offstage, but returned for curtain call. For Sale: Want to own a piece of history, have $2.1 million to spare, but also love terrifying things that haunt your nightmares for years? Then this house is for you. The Los Angeles home used as the exterior for the movie A Nightmare on Elm Street is up for sale. It's a deal, really — if you love gorgeous, historical houses but don't need to have restful, non-nightmarish sleep. [PopWatch]
Worst Seatmates Ever: That crying baby you sat next to on your last flight is going to sound heavenly compared to these three horrible humans who caused a flight from Canada to the Caribbean to be grounded for a night. Apparently, a family (father, mother, son) decided they couldn't wait until they landed to smoke, so the three of them lit up cigarettes in their seats and refused to put them out. The flight was diverted to Bermuda, where they were all arrested and the rest of the 180 passengers and crew members had to spend the night in a hotel. [AP]
