File this under "completely unsurprising." Looks like baby Kimye will be yet another Kardashian diva.
"I'm so excited we're having a girl. Who doesn't want a girl? I think they are the best," she said on the show, adding, "I know that's really what Kanye has always wanted — he wanted a little girl."
Up until the announcement, the couple tried to keep the baby's gender a secret. As Kim told the Huffington Post in April, "We buy all white. Or we'll go and buy both [boys' and girls' clothing], and then no one will know!"
Despite these positively genius efforts to keep people guessing, fans are hardly surprised by the news. The announcement came the same day as Kim's "garden-chic" themed baby shower, where guests donned floral headdresses and Kardashian mama Kris Jenner showed up in a full hot pink ensemble.
But the real giveaway was the invitation, a dainty music box that featured a ballerina dancing to Kanye's 2005 track "Hey Mama." Khloe Kardashian Odom tried to quell the speculation during her Today show appearance, pointing out that the box was white and therefore "gender-neutral." But really, the ballerina wasn't fooling anyone.
With the baby's gender officially confirmed and another two months to go before her July due date, the public is watching as Kim's pregnancy is documented on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Kanye may insist that he "ain't no motherf**king celebrity," but his daughter is already a reality star.
