The Smurfs aren’t Britney Spears‘ only co-stars in the music video for “Ooh La La,” her song off The Smurfs 2 soundtrack. The video also features her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden. In the video, Spears and her sons are chillin’ at the movies when she suddenly gets zapped into the big screen. Her children don’t seem to be distressed by this, and excitedly watch their mom dance around Smurf Village.
While Spears’ kids are cute, the video is still pretty terrible (sorry, Brit!). Between Spears’ awkward fist pumping and bad acting, it’s hard to watch. (Look! Smuffette is totally in my hand right now!) And “Baby come with me and be my ooh la la?” What does that even mean?
And while Spears tones down her usual sexpot self for the kid-friendly video, there are still a few too many shoulder rolles, body caresses, and drop-it-low moments for total comfort. She’s dancing for her kids, you know?
However, we do commend Spears’ makeup and wardrobe team. She looks as perfectly polished and airbrushed as she did in 2004.
