Examinations carried out on Monday -- just a day after Murphy suffered a cardiac arrest at her Los Angeles home -- found there was no evidence of foul play, reports TMZ.com.
Sources tell the Web site that the Los Angeles County coroner will wait for the results of a toxicology report and a study of the actress' organs, tissues and brain, before releasing the cause of her death in four to six weeks time.
Insiders claim Murphy's body appeared "normal" and had not been subject to physical trauma.
