Even though Lindsay Lohan managed to find $300,000 somewhere so she could bail herself out of jail this weekend and have one of her friends announce she plans to voluntarily enter rehab again, we're still a long way off from tasting some of this "I'm a good actress" rigatoni she keeps offering to make us. IMDB is reporting she was offered the lead in Richard O'Sullivan's One Night With You, about a child actress who continues growing in fame when she gets cast on a reality TV show, but now producers are offering the role to Taylor Swift, as Lohan is...Lohan.
O'Sullivan apparently wrote the screenplay with Lohan in mind, so you can imagine how upset he is about getting everything wrong and forgetting to make his main character an extreme malfunction. A source said, "It appears the romantic comedy may finally be off the table for Lindsay Lohan. The producers had actually talked to Taylor Swift's agent a few months back about replacing Lindsay, but Taylor was in the middle of her tour. Now that Lindsay can't conquer her troubles, they're taking the offer back to Taylor."
If little miss "you don't notice me because my boobs are hidden by the trombone that I play in the school band" gets the role, this will the second movie deal that's been taken away from Lohan. She lost her part in The Other Side in April -- the producers of which must have felt she was past the point of responding to nasty letters from directors with apologies and timely set arrivals (like she supposedly did after Garry Marshall wrote to her and demanded she stop partying prior to days she would be filming Georgia Rule). I'd definitely say she's passed those too, since she's testing dirty and probably has a bunch of people chained up in some farmhouse waiting for her to tell them what kind of leggings to make. So Swift it is, then. It'd still be funny if someone took it away from HER, though.
