Petra Nemcova, noted supermodel and outstanding humanitarian, is reportedly considering dropping out of the Dancing with the Stars cast to help victims of the tsunami in Japan. But Nemcova herself even hinted at withdrawing from the competition on Friday, when she told Access Hollywood, "there's the famous saying 'six degrees of separation,' but if a natural disaster happens, there's no degree of separation. We are all connected." After surviving the 2004 tsunami in Thailand (that sadly killed her fiancé) by clinging to a palm tree for eight hours with a broken pelvis, Nemcova founded the Happy Hearts Foundation to help the children whose lives are impacted after a natural disaster. She continued to explain her desire to help with, "right now, we are working in nine countries. We have rebuilt 47 schools. I don't see my life doing anything else." Her departure seems quite likely when considered in conjunction with the fact that she was at the U.N. when this season's cast was announced live on ABC on March 1st.
