Working two time-consuming jobs would be stressful for anyone -- even Sharon Osbourne. And so it has been reported earlier this week that Mrs. Osbourne, who is pulling double duty as being a judge on America's Got Talent and co-hosting The Talk, will in fact be leaving the CBS daytime talk show this year. The fiery redhead confirmed last night that the reports are accurate, but claims that she won't be making a complete departure. She's planning on remaining with The Talk, just in a reduced capacity.
What caused our favorite British mom to make such a decision? Well besides the fact that I'm sure she's bloody tired from working two jobs, Osbourne states, "I've kept it no secret that I really miss my husband...he'll have been on tour for 18 months by the time it's over. I've spent a lot of time away from him. He gets a break at the end of September and so I've asked [the show] for a little break so I can be with him." All together now -- awwwww. While Mama Osbourne slowly starts to wean herself from the show, there's no doubt that she's going to be missed. The insight and humor she provides for the show's daily topics of conversation are going to be a terrible loss. Sharon reassures us though that she's not completely disappearing, saying "I don't want to give [it] up. It's a great, great show. We've all worked really hard over the last year. I'm not going to walk away from that. I just need some real good quality time to be with my hubby." I admit that's sweet, but either way when the show returns from its summer hiatus in September they're going to be down one host, leaving a huge Osbourne hole in our hearts that none of the other ladies can fill.
