A lot of crazy outfits walked the red carpet last night. Justin Bieber was sporting some unnecessary glasses (not to mention a live snake), Deena from Jersey Shore lit up like a rainbow, and Nicki Minaj looked like she was about ready to perform surgery on a Care Bear. One person who immediately stood out in my mind as looking absolutely fantastic, though, was Demi Lovato. She totally rocked a plunging mini-dress and looks like she's really turning herself around. Not only did she look happy, but she looked healthy. So I'm completely confused and disgusted by the fact that she was getting ridiculed about her figure on Twitter during the MTV Video Music Awards. Demi responded to these ridiculous accusations by writing, "Guess what? I'm healthy and happy, and if you're hating on my weight you obviously aren't."
First of all, what are they talking about? She looks absolutely amazing in that dress! Why are Twitter peeps hating on her healthy, curvy look? It's not even that curvy, I just can't get over this. Also, just for future reference to all bullies out there, it's not the greatest idea to criticize someone about their weight, especially if they've recently gotten out of rehab and have had problems with eating disorders and weight issues. Being in the public eye is hard enough after going through all that -- no need to try to get her to relapse. Sticks and stones can still break bones, but Twitter will do just as much damage. So think before you tweet.
