Apparently he can do whatever he likes. Rapper T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) has been released from federal prison in Arkansas today and immediately took to Twitter rejoicing about his recent freedom saying "Feels great to be back where I belong...Back in the arms of those who need me the most." For those of you who don't know the story, the rapper served 10 months for violating his gun conviction parole when he and wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle were arrested on drug possession charges in September. He will be completing the remainder of 11-month sentence at a half-way house, but the location will not be disclosed until after he arrives.
It's also worth noting now that he's out of prison, the singer is set to team up with VH1 for a new untitled reality show premiering Dec. 5. The half-hour, 10-episode series will chronicle his life on the outside, including getting reacclimated to the outside world, his relationship with Tiny, the plans he has to jump-start his music career, and his attempts to raise his children, all while fulfilling the terms of his strict probation. Wow, they really will make a reality show out of anything. This makes Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Jersey Shore seem almost Emmy worthy. Almost.
