It's a boy! Summer may be over, but that doesn't mean the baby boom has! People magazine confirmed that Bones star Emily Deschanel and her It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia husband, David Hornsby, welcomed their very first child on Wednesday. The couple got married in 2010 and she announced that she was pregnant this past March. So what's the baby's name? Don't worry, the new parents decided to go the more traditional route instead of playing the absurd celebrity baby name game that seems so popular in Hollywood. They chose to name their new little bundle of joy Henry.
The new mom's Bones co-star, TJ Thyne, took to Twitter last night to share the happy news, saying, "CONGRATULATIONS EMILY D!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay yay yay!!! :o)" Looks like she has a great support system that she can lean on both in the workplace and outside it. And I'm sure nothing compares to Aunt Zooey Deschanel's excitement about the newest member of the family. Emily even seemed to enjoy the whole pregnancy process and recently showed off her baby bump on the cover of Fit Magazine, where she admitted, "I really like being pregnant. I'm in awe of the process and the science. And seeing my belly move is pretty amazing; it's like in the movie 'Alien.'" Well, welcome to earth Henry, and congratulations to all!
